Despite empty promises of infusing a new civility into our political discourse, the Democratic Party has returned to type by branding its opponents “Nazis.” Rep. Steve Cohen, D-TN, compared Republicans opposed to ObamaCare with Germany’s National Socialists on the floor of the House of Representatives — then lied about doing so in a nationally televised interview, then insisted he was right, then promised never to do it again. The Congressman was joined in the Ultimate Blood Libel by a comedienne on CNN’s sister network, despite CNN’s recent pledge to defuse polemical rhetoric. (The network’s John King recently apologized for a guest’s use of the term “crosshairs.”) The reversal should come as no surprise. The Left lies as easily as it breathes and maligns or wishes death upon its opponents with greater ease yet. It is more instructive to compare the people liberals brand as “Nazis” with those conservatives find worthy of the term.
The day after Rep. Cohen called his distinguished colleagues followers of Joseph Goebbels, conservative Rep. Dana Rohrabacher also compared a political party’s leadership with the Nazis. Appropriately enough, they were the leaders of the Chinese Communist Party. The California Congressman told Radio America’s Greg Corombos of Dateline Washington:
We should be telling our business community, “You are dealing with the Nazis here. You are dealing with people who are murdering people for their religious convictions. And we do not look on it as consistent with American tradition that you are going over there and setting up a factory so you can take advantage of slave labor.”

Rohrabacher, who has been a steadfast advocate for Chinese human rights for decades, rightly pointed out that the Red Chinese government liquidates members of the Falun Gong religious sect and sells their organs. As possibly the most repressive nation in the world, the butchers of Beijing more than earned the comparison.

Rep. Cohen tongue-lashed Republicans as they voted to repeal ObamaCare on Tuesday:
They say it’s a government takeover of healthcare — a Big Lie just like Goebbels. You say it enough and you repeat the lie, repeat the lie, repeat the lie until eventually people believe it. Like Blood Libel. That’s the same kinda thing. The Germans said enough abut the Jews, and the people believed it, and you had the Holocaust.
In a recent impolitic moment, Howard Dean admitted ObamaCare would wreck private insurance, but Cohen considers Republican repetition of this truth beyond the pale.
It was far from Cohen’s first act of hate speech. In April, Cohen told The Young Turks, a far-Left radio program, “The Tea Party people are kind of, without robes and hoods, they have shown a very hardcore, angry side of America that is against any type of diversity.” He said they were, “just a clone of George Wallace’s fan club, and I’m afraid they’ve taken over the Republican Party.”
When CNN’s Anderson Cooper asked Cohen about comparing Republicans to the practitioners of genocide, the Congressman insisted he did no such thing. “I didn’t compare the Republicans to Nazis,” he said. After insisting he made no such comparison, he made it again, “Certainly I didn’t intend to do that, but the way they lied has been the same way that the master political propagandist of all time Goebbels said to lie.” He concluded by saying, “I won’t say it again, but I was right.”
Meanwhile on CNN’s sister network Headline News, Joan Rivers found another Nazi: Sarah Palin. In an interview with daughter Melissa on The Joy Behar Show Wednesday, Joan Rivers claimed her remark that “I don’t think Sarah Palin is very smart” led to their being uninvited as guests on Fox and Friends. (Frankly, whatever got the job done, we should all be thankful.) As the anti-Palin pile-on began, Joan popped in, “She’s a Nazi.” (At the end of the interview Rivers vowed to “never retire.”)
Like the Obama administration’s report claiming the greatest terrorist threat in America comes from conservatives, pro-lifers, traditional marriage advocates, and military veterans, these remarks tell observers everything they need to know. The Left seethes with such venom against conservatives, because it regards us as the embodiment of all evil in the modern world. Meanwhile, the most evil regimes on the planet — all of them wedded to left-wing concepts of economics and government — get off scot-free.
I've come to the conclusion that the liberal, progressive left is guilty of every single thing it accuses conservatives of being. Racism? Could that be behind the left's insistence on social assistance, thereby keeping poor folks "in their place" (also known as Plantation Politics)? Repeating lies? Have you listened to some of the claims on the repeal of their Health Care program lately? It's gotten to the point with me where, when I hear statements like these, I tend to believe the speaker is the one guilty, not the person they are trying to indict.
I believe it was Abraham Lincoln (and my mother) who said, "It's better to be thought a fool that to open one's mouth and remove all doubt" — a whole lot of people would be better served if they simply kept their mouths shut.
The November elections clearly revealed who the American people think are the nazis. 27 of 50 states sueing the Obama health care plan shows clearly who the people think the nazis are. 57% of people wanting Obamacare repealed shows who the people think the nazis are. Seems like Cohen may be the Goebbels of the Progressives(nazis). The war the so-called Democrat Party waged to get rid of moderate (Blue Dog) candidates last year clearly shows who the nazis are. The association between big government and the thug run unions clearly shows who the nazis are!

As a veteran, I believe that Nobama should apologize to all veterans as well as conservatives, proponants of traditional marriage, and prolifers. He has never served one day in uniform. He knows nothing of running any size military unit much less Commander-in Chief. He knows nothing of fighting an enemy intent on killing you by any means. He knows nothing about the feeling of bullets whizzing by your head. He knows nothing of being wounded. In short, he knows nothing, period.

The Husband Store
A store that sells new husbands has opened in New York City , where a woman may go to choose a husband. Among the instructions at the entrance is a description of how the store operates:
You may visit this store ONLY ONCE! There are six floors and the value of the products increase as the shopper ascends the flights. The shopper may choose any item from a particular floor, or may choose to go up to the next floor, but you cannot go back down except to exit the building!
So, a woman goes to the Husband Store to find a husband. On the first floor the sign on the door reads:

She is intrigued, but continues to the second floor, where the sign

The historically correct designation of the term "Nazi" applied to Hitler's German regime wherein life was not valued if you were anything other than an able-bodied member of the Aryan race – "First they came for the Jews" is a video out there on You Tube which illustrates the horror that existed. The party of death/DNC has become notorious for promoting baby murder/abortion as well as euthanasia and both of those crimes against humanity are sanctioned at taxpayer expense through the health related bill the House defeated yesterday. It is my hope and prayer to see a patriot take A.G. Cuccinelli's court victory to the Supreme justices that they may now declare the bill unconstitutional based on the individual mandate. Then we will be able to work upon making adjustments to the system we have. It is an insanity to throw the baby out with the bath water so to speak as Democrats have been attempting to force us to accept through the ramming through of that very bad bill. There is now ever greater hope for repeal, for which I praise the Lord!

Comparing conservatives to spawning another Holocaust in the attempt to repeal Obamacare makes about as much sense as saying Jarod Loughner was inspired to commit a violent act by listening to talk radio. Congressman Cohen owes us an apology for insulting our intelligence.
Actually, the first use of Public Relations (propaganda) was introduced by a man by the name of Edward Hayak during the Wilson administration. He wrote a book that started a very successful use of psychology to convince people how much they needed certain products, such as bacon with breakfast, by repeating it time and time again. It was revolutionary, so the Wilson administration started using this technique for political purposes. They were the first Progressives of the Democrat Party. Goebbels simply learned the technique from America's Progressive Democrats and applied it to the politics of the Nazis. Progressives are still using the technique to this day. "Global warming" is a good example.
Rep. Cohen needs to study history before casting aspersions on anybody.
I just wonder why these people say what they say. It amazes me, do they really believe these absurd thoughts? If so, they need to be observed and more than likely, locked up in a padded room.
