Speaking in a snarky tone last week, Barack Obama asked a gathering of El Paso Hispanics if they thought the Republicans wanted an alligator-filled moat on the Mexican border. Attorney General Eric Holder had something of a meltdown on Capitol Hill today when a Republican Congressman pressed him on his preferential treatment of the New Black Panther Party. Rep. The Obama administration is in overdrive to claim credit for a newly released report showing a decline in the number of illegal immigrants. The Pew Hispanic Center found that “only” 300,000 illegal immigrants entered the United States each year from March 2007 to March 2009.
