Writing a syndicated column in 2011 is night and day different from when we started writing for publication in the 1990′s. The overriding change is the volume and immediacy of feedback. In the 1990′s we would receive the occasional letter applauding or challenging our thesis, facts and motives. Today we find our email inbox and comment sections so full it is difficult to read it all.

We take our … Read the Rest of this Post

Although he has grown Washington more than any president in a generation, Barack Obama is talking like a Jeffersonian states rights champion — in the one night, in the one state, on the one issue that would promote his top-down rejection of traditional morality. As Barack Obama attends a sold out, $1,250-per-plate campaign fundraiser before a large homosexual group in New York (the “Gala with the Gay Community”) … Read the Rest of this Post

Democrats invented election fraud. The most recent example of their talent and expertise was the special election in New York’s 26th Congressional District, where a far-Left Democrat masqueraded as a Tea Party candidate. Correctly counting on the laziness of voters to know who they are actually voting for (just as Barack Hussein Obama did), he managed to garner nine percent of the conservative vote, allowing the openly declared liberal Democrat to win.… Read the Rest of this Post

Throughout his time as president, Barack Obama has made ample use of Saul Alinsky’s rules for political warfare. Alinsky’s Rule #5 states “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon,” while Rule #13 prescribes: “Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.” Obama has repeatedly mocked and belittled his political opponents, attempted to stifle dissent, and tried to delegitimize news outlets that do not adhere to his party line. Now, he has … Read the Rest of this Post

Whether the voters like it or not, and whether they care or not, politicians have declared that the coffee break is over and the campaign for the presidential election, to be held in November, 2012 – more than 500 days from now – has officially begun. Be still, my raging heart. Since the fool who currently occupies the White House is already using our tax dollars to pay for his campaign appearancesRead the Rest of this Post

The Libya situation is complicated. I envy no president stuck with the task. Among the complexities, the most daunting unknown is what’s behind the opposition. We would all like to see Moammar Gaddafi tossed to the ash-heap of history, but the rub is who, or what, would replace him. What a tragedy it would be if America intervened only to see Gaddafi replaced by an Ayatollah.

Where’s the outrage?

Given what Barack Obama is doing to the Constitution, the economy and our future, the American people should be up in arms (metaphorically speaking, civility-hysterics take note). Citizens should be marching on Washington with pitchforks and flaming brands in hand (also a metaphor). Every city should see demonstrations to make the most raucous Tea Party rally look like Sunday night in Pierre, South Dakota.

Instead, it’s a … Read the Rest of this Post

So far, the first person to seriously raise the issue of impeaching Barack Obama over his illegal, unconstitutional war in Libya is Dennis Kucinich. That means the man whose ideas may do the most to unite the Republican Party is a Democrat.

To be clear, impeachment is a constitutional remedy for a president intent upon violating its strictures. Unfortunately, it is also a political act, which means politicians must feel they … Read the Rest of this Post
