On July 4th, Acting ATF Director Ken Melson testified for hours before representatives of the Grassley/Issa congressional committees. Personal counsel in tow, Melson made a number of allegations concerning the Department of Justice and two agencies under DOJ control—the FBI and the DEA.
According to his testimony, not only did the DOJ refuse his repeated requests that the ATF be permitted to provide information demanded by the congressional committees, the Department also … Read the Rest of this Post

The chief congressional investigators of Operation Fast and Furious released explosive testimony from the director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) that they say indicates the Obama administration tried to stonewall Congress, deny witnesses the ability to testify freely, and fire employees who refused to conceal damning information. According to acting ATF Director Kenneth Melson not only did the Justice Department play fast-and-loose with … Read the Rest of this Post

Like most of the American media, Pinch Sulzberger’s New York Times has ignored the ATF’s Fast and Furious and Gunrunner scandals for months. The fact that one or more Obama Regime members at the Justice Department encouraged other Obama Regime members at the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms to sell thousands of weapons to illegal straw purchasers for Mexican drug cartels and then assist in transporting the guns across the border…well … Read the Rest of this Post

In December of last year, Border Agent Brian Terry was killed by Mexican gang members in an Arizona border shootout. On May 4th, Obama … Read the Rest of this Post

On December 14, Border Officer Brian Terry lost his life in a shoot out with illegal Mexican aliens he was attempting to stop from sneaking into our country. Since then we have seen the Bureau of Alcohol Firearms and Tobacco (BATF) work overtime to keep us from learning that the guns involved in the crime, the guns with Mexican drug cartel fingerprints on them, were likely part of Project Gunrunner, an … Read the Rest of this Post

Congressman Darrell Issa is threatening the Obama administration with contempt hearings if it continues to stonewall his investigation of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF). In a letter Issa sent ATF Director Ken Melson earlier today, the California Republican blasted the agency for failing to meet the April 13 deadline for his subpoena. Issa, the chairman of the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, is investigating Project Gunrunner and Operation … Read the Rest of this Post

Several months ago, Senate Judiciary Committee Ranking Member Charles Grassley began an investigation of Project Gunrunner, the disgraceful ATF program of deliberately “walking” guns across the southern border and into the waiting hands of Mexican drug cartel members.
The senator was alerted by ATF whistleblowers, who became fed up after weapons traced to the Project were found at the scene of the December 2010 killing of Border Patrol agent Brian Terry.… Read the Rest of this Post

On December 14th, Border Patrol agent Brian Terry was killed in an Arizona border shootout, presumably with Mexican illegals. Homeland Security head Janet Napolitano eulogized him a week later, saying “he put service before self, which is the mark of heroism.” After the Arizona shootings, the Left gleefully blamed conservatives from Palin to Rush and pushed new gun legislation of all kinds. But although Big Sis herself flew … Read the Rest of this Post
