The chief congressional investigators of Operation Fast and Furious released explosive testimony from the director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) that they say indicates the Obama administration tried to stonewall Congress, deny witnesses the ability to testify freely, and fire employees who refused to conceal damning information. According to acting ATF Director Kenneth Melson not only did the Justice Department play fast-and-loose with … Read the Rest of this Post

Barack Obama’s political appointees are inept, incapable, and needlessly politicize the basic functions of whole segments of the federal government. That is not the assessment of firebrand conservatives but the result of a recent survey of high-placed career federal employees.
The survey, conducted by the Government Business Council, polled 148 Senior Executive Service members. These federal managers ranked Obama’s political appointees at only 2.0, down from the 2.3 … Read the Rest of this Post

According to a news report, Obama “will celebrate American poetry and prose with a gathering of poets, musicians and artists at the White House next Wednesday night.” One of the poets who will attend is Lonnie Rashid Lynn, Jr. who goes by the name “Common.” As you will see from this clip, his rap act threatens to shoot police officers. The news report adds he supports cop-killer Mumia Abu-Jamal. Is there no radical our president … Read the Rest of this Post

Congressman Darrell Issa has written a scathing five-page letter to the Department of Homeland Security stating it demoted an employee who blew the whistle on the department’s illegal stonewalling of Obama’s political foes. Issa, who is the chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, wrote to Janet Napolitano that the action had the appearance of “retaliation” and that “Obstructing a congressional investigation is a crime.”
Issa states that Catherine Papoi, … Read the Rest of this Post

Members of the Project 21 black leadership network are appalled that Attorney General Eric Holder used the race card to block congressional inquiries into the Justice Department’s silence and possible mishandling of a race-fueled voting rights case.
“Eric Holder is sending a consistent and unfortunate message that we should expect justice to be applied only on the terms set by him and President Obama. This disregard for the rule of law is made worse by … Read the Rest of this Post

Attorney General Eric Holder had something of a meltdown on Capitol Hill today when a Republican Congressman pressed him on his preferential treatment of the New Black Panther Party. Rep. John Culberson, R-TX, read a statement from a Democrat calling the Black Panthers’ actions the worst case of voter intimidation he had ever seen. In response, Holder huffed that, while the Panthers’ nightstick-wielding threats were “inappropriate,” the assessment was demeaning … Read the Rest of this Post

Barack Obama has provided yet more proof that only his administration’s allies enjoy the equal protection of the law; conservatives should expect no right to justice in Obama’s America. We have learned, from firsthand testimony, that civil rights protections do not apply when Black Panthers deny white citizens the right to vote. We have seen that immigration laws do not apply in Arizona. And the president has made … Read the Rest of this Post

As Barack Obama’s memorial speech in Tuscon brought healing to Arizona, his administration was preparing to bring the pain. As part of the Friday news dump, Obama’s National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) announced it planned to sue the states of Arizona, South Carolina, South Dakota, and Utah to allow unions to continue organizing through card-check instead of the secret ballot. This is a fight Republicans should welcome, because its terms and tactics … Read the Rest of this Post
