Since its inception in 2002, the Department of Homeland Security has grown increasingly contemptuous of the rights of the American people. Indeed, the Gestapo-like tactics of one of the Department’s better known masters of overreach–the TSA–are responsible for countless examples of the organization’s daily assault on the Constitution.

But recently, another of Janet Napolitano’s handmaidens of harassment has begun to make news…albeit only on the web, of course. It is the TSA’s … Read the Rest of this Post

A “Woman Screams for Help After TSA Molestation,” and the “Texas Pat Down Ban May Be Back.” Those are just two of the headlines breaking around the nation this morning, as summer travel picks up—and so do concerns over excessive airport security.

How much indignity are you willing to endure if told it’s for safety’s sake? Would you let strangers look at images of you naked? Would you allow strangers … Read the Rest of this Post

With the election approaching, Barack Hussein Obama has spared no effort in proclaiming his undying love of his country (the United States, we are told), his veneration of the Constitution, his enduring belief in the power of prayer, and the firm conviction that Americans have the right to keep and bear arms.

But we proletarians who manifest such sentiments had best beware of the Department of Homeland Security … Read the Rest of this Post

As Egyptians half a world away ponder what kind of government they want to live under, Americans must also ask themselves the same question in the wake of Barack Obama’s latest State of the Union Address. Although his salmon joke got a few (undeserved) laughs, few commented that it came just after President Obama “proposed a “major reorganization of the government.” Although he promised to make America “more competitive,” … Read the Rest of this Post

Department of Homeland Security Director Janet Napolitano has ordered TSA personnel to have sexual contact with travelers who refuse to be photographed in the nude by means of the body scanners now deployed in airports, and TSA agents have complied. The person is subjected to such sexual contact by forcible compulsion, with the threat of incarceration and large fines for failing to comply.

Under the Washington State Criminal Code, DHS Secretary … Read the Rest of this Post

When it comes to the impeachment and subsequent removal from office of a sitting president, the ‘how’ is found in the Constitution; much of the ‘why’ is found in the Declaration of Independence. The former was an extension of the latter.

As a Constitutional law professor, Barack Obama is extremely familiar with our founding documents but – quite ironically in light of his nearly palpable contempt for Great Britain – he … Read the Rest of this Post

Sexual harrassment: It’s not just for airports anymore!

The federal government is rolling out metal detectors, TSA-style pat downs, and scanners for bus terminals across these United States. Federal inspectors have expanded their reach beyond terrorist paraphernalia to look for “immigration violators” (allegedly) and anyone traveling with a large sum of cash. (The Obama administration presumably wants to identify immigration violators so it can fast-track them to citizenship and grant them voting … Read the Rest of this Post
