Obama’s Terrorist Pal: MLK was More Radical than Rev. Wright

by Ben Barrack

When Bill Ayers made the statement during a radio interview on December 1, 2010, that Hillary Clinton created Jeremiah Wright during the Obama campaign of 2008, the outlandishness of that portion of the interview is what got the most attention in the blogosphere. However, that wasn’t the claim that should have grabbed the headlines.

In an attempt to diminish Wright’s fiery rhetoric – which notoriously included shouts of “G** D*** America,” to his congregation – Ayers said that Barack Obama’s one-time pastor was “very moderate compared to say, the speeches of King Martin Luther King between ’65 and ’68.” In particular, Ayers pointed to a speech King gave in Memphis on March 18, 1968, called “America will go to Hell unless….”

Where is the uproar from the Left? A white male accused MLK of being more radical than a man who called for God’s condemnation of America from the pulpit. Ayers was saying that the rhetoric of Wright – an anti-Semite – was tame compared to that of the man whose legacy includes countless streets named after him.

(Story continues after video.)

In the interest of checking on Ayers’ credibility with regard to this claim, I looked up the transcript of the speech he referred to. In it, King said:

I come by here to say that America too is going to Hell, if we don’t use her wealth. If America does not use her vast resources of wealth to end poverty, to make it possible for all of God’s children to have the basic necessities of life, she too will go to Hell.

Of course, when King was demanding equal treatment for oppressed blacks in the early 1960′s, he did so from the moral high ground. When he demanded on June 25, 1967, that the solution required redistribution of wealth, he would unwittingly bolster the claims of Bill Ayers in 2010 while ceding some of that high ground. King said:

It didn’t cost the nation one penny to integrate lunch counters. It didn’t cost the nation one penny to guarantee the right to vote. The problems that we are facing today will cost the nation billions of dollars in order to solve these problems. In other words, we are in a period where there cannot be a solution to the problem without a radical redistribution of economic and political power.

Did Ayers have a point? If Ayers is still viewed as a hero of the far Left after claiming that MLK was more radical than Jeremiah Wright, should conservatives be allowed to agree with his assessment of King without being demagogued by the same people who gave Ayers a pass?

American Radio Works produced a documentary about MLK in 2008 entitled King’s Last March, which presented a slightly different view of King. The producer of that documentary, Kate Ellis, granted an interview to American Public Media’s Desiree Cooper, and Cooper raised the comparison between Wright and King. Ellis responded:

At the same time, King was always careful to say, “I love America. I love America so much I’m going to tell you when you’re wrong.” And so, in some ways, I would have to compare him more to Barack Obama, who says, “We’re not perfect, but we can be perfected.” And I think that’s a closer connection to King’s message than some of what I’ve heard Reverend Wright say.

That interview took place at the height of Obama-mania – in March of 2008. In the years since, it’s clear that Obama has had absolutely no problem enunciating America’s imperfections or telling nations that America is wrong.

So who is right, Ayers or Ellis?

If Ayers is right, America needs to seriousy rethink some of its most entrenched paradigms regarding Martin Luther King Jr. If Ellis is right, MLK shared Obama’s vision of wealth redistribution that is currently destroying the American economy. Either way, neither Obama nor Ayers is doing the MLK legacy any favors.

People act as if this is new information regarding MLK, whose real name was Michael, and never legally changed. The NAACP and MLK were funded and established by unabashed communists. There is no doubt. It's documented. MLK was a whore-chasing plagiarizer whose FBI records have been sealed to avoid embarrassment to his family and the civil rights movement in general. All of his most famous speeches, including "Letter from a Birmingham Jail, have been purloined from other sources. In fact, his "I Have a Dream Speech" was taken almost verbatim from a Baptist preacher. His doctoral thesis was plagiarized, including the typographical errors in total from other publications. Wake up America! Why would we ever celebrate a communist in this country?

  4. DEVILDAWGG says:

MARTIN LUTHER KING WAS A MEMBER OF THE COMMUNIST PARTY IN THE 1950'S. HE WAS A PAWN FOR THE COMMUNIST TO INTERNALLY STIR UP THIS COUNTRY ! IF THE BLACK PEOPLE WOULD TAKE TIME TO STUDY HISTORY , THEY WOULD FIND THAT ABRAHAM LINCOLN, CONSERVATIVE REPUBLICAN, FREED THEM ! IN THE EARLY 1950'S DWIGHT DAVID EISENHOWER, CONSERVATIVE REPUBLICAN, CALLED OUT THE NATIONAL GUARD IN ARKANSAS TO ALLOW BLACK CHILDREN TO GO INTO PREDOMINANTLY WHITE SCHOOLS WITHOUT BEING MOLESTED ! YES, JOHN F. KENNEDY AND LYNDON BAINES JOHNSON SOMEWHAT FREED THEM AGAIN, THEY DID THIS FOR POLITICAL REASONS AND THAT WAS FOR THEIR VOTE ! EVER SINCE THE CIVIL RIGHTS ACT WAS PASSED, THE BLACKS HAVE BEEN MAJORALLY DEMOCRATIC VOTERS DUE TO THE GOVERNMENT SUBSISTENCE THEY GET . THIS SET THEM BACK 200 YEARS, BECAUSE IT ENSLAVED THEM TO THE GOVERNMENT AND THE MAJORITY OF THEM ARE STILL POOR !

Abraham Lincoln freed the Northern slaves by the Emancipation Proclamation. No nation (the USA) can pass a law for another nation (CSA). Only when the thirteenth Amendment was passed on December 6, 1865 was slavery abolished under Andrew Johnson, a Democrat, during the reconstruction era. Lincoln was killed in April, 1865.

    • hijinx60 says:

During the War of Northern Agression Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation. In his eyes the south wasn't seceeded but in an act of rebellion. However, the southern states had seceeded and became another nation, the Confederate States of America. Since one nation cannot pass a law for another nation, the Emancipation proclamation only affected the states that did not seceed, the north. After Lincoln's assasination in April, 1865, and the defeat of the Confederacy, Andrew Johnson became President and the thirteenth Amendment was passed and ratified December 6, 1865. This was nine months after Lincoln's death.

THEY OUGHT TO THANK THEIR ANCESTORS FOR GOING THROUGH THE SACRIFICES WHICH INSURED THEIR WAY TO THE AMERICAN DREAM ! DON'T FORGET WHITES WERE SLAVES , ALSO ! THEY WERE JUST CALLED ENDENTURED SERVANTS . NO WHITE MAN LIVING TODAY HAS EVER OWNED A BLACK OR WHITE SLAVE ! AL SHARPTON AND JESSE JACKSON HAVE NEVER BEEN SLAVES AND HAVE NEVER DONE AN HONEST DAYS WORK AS AN ADULT ! IT'S TIME TO GET PAST THIS SLAVERY CRAP AND STAND ON YOUR OWN MERITS ! THE GOVERNMENT HAS BENT OVER BACKWARDS MAKING THE OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE TO EVERYONE, ESPECIALLY TO THE BLACKS ! HOW HAS ELECTING OBAMA HELPED THE BLACK PEOPLE ? All of these seemingly new findings about MLK. Bill Ayers, Stalen, Hitler or Oblunder, do not change my mind about this black plague that has fallen upon this country. When he promised change, fundamental change, I knew there was trouble comming, and I don't see anything to make think optherwise. The left isn't doing anything to help this country either. Our worst enemy as a nation is our polititions, and they are like a plague, we can't get rid off.

Let me put it this way I think Martin Luther King would have been our best president if he ever would have accepted the job- which is unlikely- instead for a black man we get a damn sorry foreigner born in kenya disobeying our Constitution from even before day one because he was illegally a senator with no proof of USA citizenship then either-we had warning of 911-we had warning of Borak time after time our congress has proven itself not fit for duty-there is too much trash at capitol hill and there is a multitude there that needs to be fired just like our ISLAMwonder Borak Obama he is Kenya's shame not ours

They are going to be out building that NAFTA Super Highway again – Stop it!
    http://www.examiner.com/international-trade-in-na
The second NAFTA agreement, currently being negotiated between the US and Canada, does not only call for border controls under the US Constitution, it also includes the creation of a superhighway to move goods and service freely from the Mexican border to the Canadian inlands under the supervision of the US.

The new super highway is the road to annexation for both Canada and Mexico who will have to give up their independence and their sovereignty and pledge allegiance to the US Constitution instead.

The creation of such a new NAFTA agreement has far-reaching repercussions for North America in general and certainly from a pure trade and economic perspective.

  10. paulrevere101 says:

    How the super highway works

The newly built highway would physically connect the Mexican border with Canada for fast and easy transportation of imported goods and cost effective distribution of such within the US.

The highway safety and border patrol on both ends would become the sole responsibility of the US as per the applicable US laws under the Department of Homeland Security, the National Security Agency and the Patriot Act.

The road would also split the US into a Western and Eastern part with a newly created 1,700 mile long new border on both sides of the highway which will be guarded and patrolled by US Customs agents to allow free trade to occur.

  11. paulrevere101 says:

How the plan affects two sovereign nations

Both Canada and Mexico will have to relinquish their independence and will be annexed as the 51st and 52ndstate of the USA respectively with a state government that will be allowed to govern within the US Constitution and its amendments.

Sovereignty will become a memory in history books and will be replaced with a United North America in the name of globalization and international trade.

  12. paulrevere101 says:

The sponsors of the super highway

Wal-Mart, the largest US importer and retailer of Chinese and Asian manufactured goods and the darling of the US consumer, has partnered up with Hutchinson Whampoa, a Chinese development company, to expand the Mexican port of Lazaro Cardenas with a $300 million capital investment.

Punta Colonet, just south of Tijuana, is also marked for expansion according to the US Business and Industry Council.

Both Mexican ports are expected to offload 2 million TEUs (20 Ft container equivalent) each by 2020 for transport and import of Asian products to the US and Canada.

  13. paulrevere101 says:

The consequences of a super highway in the US

The new NAFTA agreement would lead to the automatic annexation of two sovereign countries that would be placed under the US Constitution and its applicable federal law.

It would also divide the US into two seemingly separate parts with a wide border zone running through it from South to North with a total length of 3,400 miles to be guarded and patrolled on both sides, similar to a DMZ or “no-man’s land”.

The plan will also impact the current large US ports and its longshoremen who will be replaced by Mexican port workers that will handle most of not all of the import cargo volume in the United North America.

  14. paulrevere101 says:

US truckers will be impacted negatively as all cargo hauling and trucking will originate in Mexico, primarily and travel free of tariffs or taxes throughout the US and into Canada.

Another notable consequence is the possibility of free and unsupervised human trafficking across the NAFTA super highway from one annexed state to another. Full Story at :http://www.examiner.com/international-trade-in-national/the-nafta-superhighway-the-road-to-annexation
