When he was elected president, Barack Obama expressed his desire to “fundamentally transform America.” On an economic level, that explains his plans to siphon wealth from productive citizens to the indolent, entrepreneurs to union thugs, and Main Street to Wall Street (and 142nd Street). Spiritually, it means redistributing respect from America’s majority religion to every splinter religion in the world’s pantheon. Although he could not be bothered to write a presidential statement celebrating Easter or acknowledging the severity of the Armenian genocide, the president of the United States has publicly commended Passover, Nowruz, Diwali, Eid-ul-Fitr, Hajj, and Eid-ul-Adha. (And he complains when no one believes he is a Christian.) He has praised the concept of umoja (black racial unity) while celebrating the phony, racist holiday of Kwanzaa. Now, he would like you to have a happy Ramadan:
As Ramadan begins, Michelle and I would like to send our best wishes to Muslim communities in the United States and around the world. Ramadan is a festive time that is anticipated for months by Muslims everywhere.
Families and communities share the happiness of gathering together for Iftar and prayers. Bazaars light up the night in many cities from Rabat to Jakarta. And here in the United States, Muslim Americans share Ramadan traditions with their neighbors, fellow students, and co-workers.
For so many Muslims around the world, Ramadan is also a time of deep reflection and sacrifice.
As in other faiths, fasting is used to increase spirituality, discipline, and consciousness of God’s mercy. It is also a reminder of the importance of reaching out to those less fortunate.
The heartbreaking accounts of lost lives and the images of families and children in Somalia and the Horn of Africa struggling to survive remind us of our common humanity and compel us to act.
Now is the time for nations and peoples to come together to avert an even worse catastrophe by offering support and assistance to on-going relief efforts.
Times like this remind us of the lesson of all great faiths, including Islam — that we do unto others as we would have them do unto us.
In that spirit, I wish Muslims around the world a blessed month, and I look forward to again hosting an Iftar dinner here at the White House. Ramadan Kareem.

With this proclamation Obama redistributes presidential approbation from Christianity to Islam. Christianity founded and established America, yet Obama has chosen to ignore the vital importance Christianity has in our history (if not in his own) and praise Islam, a religion that also has plans to fundamentally transform America.
Obama has aided Islamic interests at virtually every step at home, abroad, even in outer space. While celebrating an Iftar dinner last year, Obama endorsed the Ground Zero Mosque. Who knows what keen ideas he’ll get this year?
Until he rolls out his next revolutionary act to repeal America, this statement will have to do.
Well, will wonders never cease. I will look forward to seeing any pictures of our fearless leader to see if his wedding ring and watch have been sent out for repairs again like they were last year Right!
At the least he could do would be to stop trying to convince anyone he’s Christian. We know as a muslem he has the right to lie.

I totally agree – I just don’t know what to do….But you know, I think that there are more and more people expressing their feelings – “We’re mad as hell and we’re not going to take it anymore” – I just hope we don’t fall back int apathy.
obama may be a murderous psychopath (nay, he IS) who loves terrorists, but “Christianity founded and established America” is profoundly FALSE.
The Treaty of Tripoli (negotiated under President George Washington, approved unanimously by the Senate under John Adams, 1797) states:
“the government of the United States of America is not in any sense founded on the Christian religion …”
“NOT IN ANY SENSE.” So said the Founding Fathers.
And as Thomas Jefferson (a deist, not a Christian) wrote in his Bill for Establishing Religious Freedom:
“our civil rights have no dependence on our religious opinions, any more than our opinions in physics or geometry.”
This will shock some of you, but Jefferson was perfectly happy with atheists:
“Question with boldness even the existence of a God; because, if there be one, he must more approve of the homage of reason, that that of blindfolded fear.” [letter to Peter Carr, August 10, 1787, in The Life and Selected Writings of Thomas Jefferson, pp. 431-433]

Let us secure His favor and He will lead us through the journey of this life and at length receive us to a better.” How about this one from Congress, U. S. House Judiciary Committee, 1854
“Had the people, during the Revolution, had a suspicion of any attempt to war against Christianity, that Revolution would have been strangled in its cradle… In this age, there can be no substitute for Christianity… That was the religion of the founders of the republic and they expected it to remain the religion of their descendants.” And it goes on & on…
Here ya go James Madison: “A watchful eye must be kept on ourselves lest, while we are building ideal monuments of renown and bliss here, we neglect to have our names enrolled in the Annals of Heaven.” How about George Washington: “You do well to wish to learn our arts and ways of life, and above all, the religion of Jesus Christ. These will make you a greater and happier people than you are.”
