When Barack Obama campaigned for president in 2008, he promised to reach out and work with international powers and coalitions. This weekend, he finally fulfilled a campaign promise. He chided the vast majority of Americans and sided with the terrorist group Hamas.
Polls show almost 70 percent of Americans disagree with building a mosque at Ground Zero, including the majority of Democrats. Obama gave another condescending lecture this weekend, claiming bizarrely that the 9/11 mosque is “what our country’s about.” Then he backtracked, pretending he was only discussing the First Amendment and not actually endorsing the mosque.
Not everyone was fooled. Mahmoud al-Zahar, the co-founder of Hamas, reached out to the leader of the Dar al-Harb, hoping to become his partner. Al-Zahar said this weekend, “We have to build the mosque.” In fact, he claimed Muslims “have to build everywhere.”
Obama’s nagging of the mosque’s critics supports Hamas’ objectives perfectly.
One of the people who realizes this is Debra Burlingame, who also co-founded an organization: 9/11 Families for a Safe and Strong America. She issued a statement this weekend saying patriotic Americans who oppose the mosque “risk being called religious bigots.” Nonetheless, she refused to be cowed. “Demolishing a building that was damaged by wreckage from one of the hijacked planes in order to build a mosque and Islamic Center will further energize those who regard it as a ratification of their violent and divinely ordered mission: the spread of shariah law and its subjugation of all free people.” Obama has played fool for that agenda and endangered Americans pitch perfectly.
This issue is not about freedom of religion (or “freedom of worship,” as Obama is fond of saying) but about the freedom to pour concrete and steel onto a particular chunk of the earth. There is no right to build in Manhattan. (Ask Donald Trump.) Obama seems determined to give Islamic fanatics their victory. Al-Zahar’s statement should tell Americans how badly they want to construct this mosque, whose agenda it advances, and how oblivious or unconcerned Barack Obama is about the whole matter.

. We got a radical muslim, that has never ran a buisness, most likely not a citizen, spending our tax dollars on stimulus projects that haven't worked, tripled the defict, and is destroying our country brick by brick. The funny thing is now everybody is complaining but a large majority of the American people put him there. So next time instead of electing someone because he is hip, well spoken, funny, cool, lets check background, work history, moral values, and the other things that truly matter. Don't get me wrong I can't stand the guy and never could. But the same people I warned about him prior to the election are now on the "Obama's Bad" bandwagon and I feel it is a bit late. Lets never make this mistake again and get to the polls in November with the research done and get some Constitutional Conservatives elected to try to start fixing what this liberal President and Congress have done to this country. Its a shame that our children and grand children will have to pay for us not doing our homework and letting this guy get elected!!!
