GOP officials have reported that Rick Santorum won the Iowa caucuses by 34 votes. However, votes in eight precincts will not be counted — and Mitt Romney lost seven of the eight precincts in 2008.
Officials say these eight districts did not report their results on the official “Form E” receipt. Several of the precincts overwhelmingly favored Mike Huckabee four years ago, with three of them awarding Mitt … Read the Rest of this Post

Vote irregularities in the Iowa caucuses led to Mitt Romney erroneously being declared the winner of the Iowa caucuses earlier this month, artificially giving his presidential campaign weeks of momentum and depriving Rick Santorum the opportunity to become the conservatives’ alternative candidate.
The original results showed Mitt Romney had won in Iowa by a margin of eight votes. But yesterday, Iowa GOP officials announced a “final” vote total … Read the Rest of this Post

When Eric Holder ordered Justice Department Inspector General Cynthia Schnedar to begin an investigation of possible wrongdoing in Operation Fast and Furious it was with just one purpose in mind—enable the Attorney General and other DOJ officials to refuse to answer questions or provide documentation concerning the “gunwalking” debacle because there is an “ongoing investigation.” It’s a neat little legal trick the Obama regime has pulled on more than one occasion.

It’s ironic that Obama-Soetoro should have put so many lumps of coal in American’s Christmas stockings this year, since one of them was EPA regulations designed to kill the coal industry itself. However, that was but one of many really evil, dangerous, and destructive acts performed this year by the would-be Marxist dictator currently squatting in the White House. In collusion with his stooges in the Senate and the House, he took … Read the Rest of this Post

When Barack Obama ran for president, he claimed he would restore America’s image abroad by reversubg the belligerent ways of George W. Bush, humbly apologizing for his country’s failures. Those efforts have paid off — just as this author predicted they would more than a year ago. Thanks to a needless Obama apology, thee U.S. taxpayer is expected to spend $1.8 million — and may be on the … Read the Rest of this Post

In his January 12th article on the 2010 ATF Operation White Gun, Los Angeles Times reporter Richard Serrano did little more than tell readers that three virtual nobodies had been arrested in an expensive sting that somehow allowed an unknown number of guns to disappear across the Mexican border. In fact there are probably more questions raised in the story than answered.
But it is not his skill or work … Read the Rest of this Post

Much like one of his predecessors, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Barack Obama has all but declared war on the United States Supreme Court.
It will be remembered that in 1937 FDR was angry over the high court’s refusal to put a stamp of approval on much of his New Deal agenda, and sought to bend the court to his will by adding new members to the existing court membership.
Contemptuously calling the … Read the Rest of this Post

The Golden Globes yesterday displayed Hollywood’s increasingly coarse contribution to culture again this year as Ricky Gervais dropped an F-bomb during the show’s broadcast. Evidently drinking, he told the AP how delighted he was to have: “a job where you can get drunk and say what you want and they still pay you.”
In our youth, during the now ancient 1960s, public profanity was rarely evident. Our parents could … Read the Rest of this Post

On January 9, John Karlson wrote the following letter to the editor of The Newton Bee of Newton, Connecticut, demanding President Barack Obama be impeached. He doubled his letter’s impact by sending it first to his congressman, Rep. Chris Murphy, a Democrat:
To the Editor:
The following letter was sent to Congressman Murphy this date.
Dear Congressman Murphy:
I request you start impeachment hearings on the President

I guess we were supposed to be encouraged last week when the regulator-in-chief pulled out his plastic preschool scissors while promising to cut the government down to size. “The government we have is not the government we need,” Obama announced to a group of business owners at the White House on January 13, 2011. Obama promised he’d snip off a scant $3 billion over the next ten years — in … Read the Rest of this Post
