Floyd Brown, Chairman of ImpeachObamaCampaign.com, called Republican Congressman Darrell Issa’s recent comments on Impeachment “premature” and a “bad sign of Republican weakness” in the upcoming Congress.
Brown, who is calling on Congress to Impeach Obama for crimes committed while in office, said it is disappointing for the future chairman of the Government Reform and Oversight Committee to rule out any course of action before he has even begun his investigations.
According to a report by CBS News, Representative Issa said about impeachment on Bloomberg’s “Political Capital” over the weekend, “Not a chance at this point. I don’t see it happening…Look, disagreeing with the president — the president using his authority, maybe even misusing it — that’s not what impeachment’s for,” Issa added. “Do we have disagreements? Yes. Do we want to see that the president strictly adheres to process? Yes.”
But with the facts at hand, Brown clearly points out and makes the case for at least four impeachable offenses Barack Obama committed while president of the United States: “The Obama administration has been mired in controversy and corruption since day one. Bribes were offered to Congressman Joe Sestak and former Colorado House Speaker Andrew Romanoff not to run for Senate. This is a felony and clearly an impeachable offense.”
“Inspector General of the Corporation for National Community Service, Gerald Walpin, was fired by Obama in a desperate attempt to cover up the corruption in a grant given to Obama supporter Kevin Johnson. Firing a government whistleblower uncovering corruption is an impeachable offense.”
“The Obama Administration’s mishandling of the Black Panther voter intimidation case deserves more investigation. And if orders came from the White House to squelch the investigation for political reasons, then this could be an impeachable offense.”
“The covert propaganda efforts of the Obama administration including the hiring and internet postings by Tracy Russo to discredit Obama opponents are illegal and may be an impeachable offense.”
Brown concluded, “it is irresponsible for any investigator to predict outcomes before the work has been done. Frankly, I have been impressed with Congressman Issa’s diligence up until these latest comments. I can only hope that they are the words of a politician currying favor with the slavishly Obama supporting left-wing media.”
Several members of the media, including The New Republic’s Jonathan Chait, have predicted the new Congress will impeach Obama.

I predict the new congress with try to appease Obama, rather than impeach him. Ordinary People have to demand that he be impeached and removed in large numbers. If the Republicans had any integrity they would have been calling for Obama's removal two years ago. McCain endorsed him during one of the debates.

Impeaching bama would not get his regime out, as the birth certificates if produced WOULD. That would call for a special presidential election not a pre-(s) election as 2008 was. It was discovered that the volunteer fireman was SETTING the fires. Obama needs to be tried for treason instead of impeachment but Congress doesn't have the backbone to do it. They are all a bunch of wimps with no conviction & no support of the Constitution. I totally agree with you, but it doesn't appear that our representatives in Washington are listening….again. I would have to find it, but there has already been documentation sent to all of the members of Congress several weeks ago and to this minute, I haven't heard one word about it since. I agree – Obama has to go and yesterday wouldn't have been soon enough. But, short of a military coup, how are you going to get him out? Congress has to initiate the impeachment process, but you have to get people in there that will do it. Plus, impeachment doesn't even apply if he isn't eligible to be POTUS to begin with. Then you just go in there and throw him out. But, you have to know the underlying evidence first. Just gotta get a fire lit under our representatives.

If he is not impeached, then, once he leaves the office of the President, ALL his actions and policies will not be questioned nor will there be an ability to revisit and potent…ial repeal them. People that he appoints and offices that he has created will not be questioned. ALL these things NEED to be examined. Those and offices created by the government official in the last 40 years. They need an examination for Constitutionality. Without impeachment this will be unlikely. Another issue is that AFTER he leaves the presidency, if not impeached, then he will be entitled to security and the PROTECTION of America. Look at Jimmy Carter. The damage that that man has done and will continue to do whilst having the full weight of the AMERICAN government and security behind him. Bush and Clinton are extremely powerful. This man is DANGEROUS, in office or out. Impeachment and punishment to the fullest extent of the law is what is required here. America demands JUSTICE not more LIP service.

Something far greater needs to be done than impeachment. When the House and hopefully the Senate changes hands, there should be intense investigations into all that has been going on with all the ties to these radicals surrounding Obama, then a trail and imprisonment.
