In his January 12th article on the 2010 ATF Operation White Gun, Los Angeles Times reporter Richard Serrano did little more than tell readers that three virtual nobodies had been arrested in an expensive sting that somehow allowed an unknown number of guns to disappear across the Mexican border. Much like one of his predecessors, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Barack Obama has all but declared war on the United States Supreme Court.
It will be remembered that in 1937 FDR was angry over the high court’s refusal to put a stamp of approval on much of his New Deal agenda, and sought to bend the court to his will by adding new members to the existing court membership.

The Golden Globes yesterday displayed Hollywood’s increasingly coarse contribution to culture again this year as Ricky Gervais dropped an F-bomb during the show’s broadcast.
